Getting the Wheel of the School Year into Motion


Our classroom library is ready for reading!


Kids filled our feeder.  We wonder what birds will come and how soon.


Kids also organized classroom supplies, including a bin of hodge-podge!


I want the kids to own not only the work of the room, but the environment as well.  The question marks around our room, on our door, and in the hallway link to one of our first activities--to decorate our room.  We will decide together on the d├ęcor of our room through an inquiry process that communicates many of the concepts that underlie all learning in our room.
